Spend the day relaxing in the library reading a book or playing board games on the screened porch. Enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating massage or facial treatment at our on-site day spa. Hike our private trail down to the creek, stroll through our gardens, bird watch, or spend the day hiking the Appalachian Trail and the many other State Parks in the area. You can also go horse back riding, visit the historic square of Dahlonega, tour the Gold Museum and gold mines in town and learn the history of the first major gold rush in America that happened here, shop the art galleries, antique stores, and many quaint shops, go kayaking, tubing, or canoeing down the Chestatee or Etowah Rivers, then come back and soak in the whirlpool tub in your room.

You never know when a deer or turkey may wander up into the yard.

Each spacious room has a queen size bed, (the Laurel Suite & Parlor room have a King size bed) sitting room, private bath with a whirlpool tub for two, separate shower, private balcony, in room coffee service, Clock Radio with CD player, and gas fireplaces. There is a separate private entrance from the common areas. The building has central heat and air, and each room also has its own AC unit.

All rooms have a private bath with this wonderfully relaxing spa tub to ease away those tensions and help you unwind and enjoy our peaceful mountain setting. Pamper that special someone or yourself.

Your stay includes a wonderful gourmet breakfast (guest favorites are our German Apple Pancakes or Dahlonega Golden Egg Wraps). Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:00 am.

We also serve Counter Culture Coffee, all certified Organic - Shade-Grown, fair and Sustainable. This month we feature "Finca Nueva Armenia", Certified Organic • Shade-Grown • Single Estate; Cultivated for generations by the talented Recinos family, Finca Nueva Armenia’s coffee is always a treat, and this year is no exception. An especially floral fragrance in this year’s coffee leads to the classic gently fruity, clean-as-a-whistle and balanced cup that has made Nueva Armenia famous. It’s sweet, crisp, and clean – the quintessential morning cup of coffee – and has earned a solid place as one of the best Central American coffees ever.

There are no phones or TV's in the room. There is a TV with satellite reception & a DVD/VCR in the common living room for viewing. We do have WIFI.

Sorry, our accommodations are not suitable for children - we do not accept pets. Prices are based on 1-2 people per room. We are not equipped to accommodate more than two people per room except for our Parlor Room, which has a pull out love seat bed.
