Your privacy and relaxation are assured at the Dancing Bear Cottage as we do not cater to groups or party weekends. Maximum cabin occupancy is strictly enforced to two. Our cottage is not designed to accommodate groups and if this is your intention we can refer you to other establishments in the area that can meet your needs. Please no events allowed at the cottage, no bridesmaids lunches or groups.

Extend your relaxation and enjoy spa services at the Oasis Day Spa located only steps away next door at the Mountain Laurel Creek Inn. Advance reservations are highly recommended to ensure availability of your preferred treatment.

The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen and is self-catered. Sorry, we are unable to offer our cottage guests breakfast up at the Inn.

If you’d like to skip the hassles of grocery shopping, let us stock the breakfast pantry prior to your arrival.

We offer two breakfast packages:
#1) Pancake mix, fresh fruit medley, syrup, orange juice, butter and bacon.
#2) Six eggs, English muffins, fresh fruit medley, strawberry jam, orange juice, butter and bacon.

The cost for either package is $30.00. Please be sure to indicate that you’d like to order the breakfast package when you make your reservation as this is only available with advance notice.

The Dancing Bear Cottage is surrounded by the beauty of nature and many of our guests never venture further than a short hike down our walking trail that is steps away from your front door. Should you decide to venture out, there are plenty of activities in the area to fill your days. Winery tours, shopping in historic Dahlonega, waterfall hikes, rafting, golfing and gold panning are just some of the activities that await you!

Rates:

$205 a night plus tax of $24.60 for a total of $229.60 per night, for the first two nights, with a 2 night minimum stay required. Last minute, one night stays, can sometimes be accomodated. Call us for details.

One night's rent is required in advance of your reservation, with balance due at check in. There is a $50 cancellation fee if cancelled before 14 days, if cancelled within 14 days of your stay, the deposit is non-refundable.

Housekeeping is not included.

Staying 4 nights or more you will also have access to our laundry facility.

For extended stay, please call us for a monthly rate. At this time, we can not take reservations for more than 4 months in advance.
