Our pub features local area wines from North Georgia. The pub is mainly for our guests staying at the Inn or visiting the Spa.

We are your special Georgia getaways in the mountains with the best lodging in Lumpkin County. Six luxurious suites to choose from in a perfect mountain setting. All our rooms are equipped with private baths with whirlpool spa tubs, separate shower, free WiFi, balcony and gas fireplaces. A peaceful and quiet and romantic sanctuary to totally relax, re-energize and pamper yourself or that special someone. We are also a fun place for a girlfriends getaway. At MLC we try to be green and eco-friendly. We recycle and use green and organic products where possible. We are just north of Dahlonega, and about 40 minutes from Helen GA., one hour east of Blue Ridge, and we are in the backyard of the Appalachian Trail and Blue Ridge Mountains. We are also just minutes away from five different Wineries in the area, Wolf Mountain Vineyards and Winery, Three Sisters Winery, Frogtown Cellars Winery and Vineyards, Blackstock Vineyards, and Montaluce Winery. Habersham and Tiger Mountain Vineyards both have a tasting room located on the square in Dahlonega.

Spend the day relaxing in the library reading a book or playing board games on the screened porch. Enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating massage or facial treatment at our on-site day spa. Hike our private trail down to the creek, stroll through our gardens, bird watch, or spend the day hiking the Appalachian Trail and the many State Parks in the area. You can also go horse back riding, visit the historic square of Dahlonega, tour the Gold Museum and gold mines in town and learn the history of the first major gold rush in America that happened here, shop the art galleries, antique stores, and many quaint shops, go kayaking, tubing, or canoeing down the Chestatee or Etowah Rivers, then come back and soak in the whirlpool tub in your room.

Each spacious room sleeps one or two, has a queen or king size bed, sitting room, private bath with a whirlpool tub for two, separate shower, private balcony, in room Keurig K-cup coffee service, clock radio with CD player, and gas fireplaces. There is a separate private entrance from the common areas. The building has central heat and air, and each room also has its own AC unit. We do not us cots or rollaway's, and only have one bed per room.

All rooms have a private bath with a wonderfully relaxing jetted spa tub to ease away those tensions and help you unwind and enjoy our peaceful mountain setting. Pamper that special someone or yourself with a Georgia getaways.

Mountain Laurel Creek Inn & Spa is tucked away on 8 acres of wooded forests in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near the scenic mountain village of Dahlonega, the heart and soul of the Georgia Mountains. We are just five miles north of Dahlonega, Georgia - famous for the first major Gold Rush in the nation and a half hour west of the alpine village of Helen, Georgia.

We're just over an hour drive North of Atlanta and minutes away from the Appalachian Trail. MLC is a place anyone will feel comfortable, we celebrate diversity and welcome people from all walks of life. Make our home your private retreat.

You never know when a deer or turkey may wander up into the yard.

Your stay at the inn includes a wonderful gourmet breakfast (guest favorites are our German Apple Pancakes or Dahlonega Golden Egg Wraps). Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:00 am.

We also serve Counter Culture Coffee, all certified Organic - Shade-Grown, fair and Sustainable.

There are no phones or TV's in the room. There is a TV with satellite reception & a DVD/VCR in the media room for viewing. We do have free WIFI.

Sorry, our accommodations are not suitable for children and we do not accept pets. Prices are based on 1-2 people per room. We are not equipped to accommodate more than two people per room.

POLICIES:

Payments – We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover Card, cash and checks.

Check-in is between 3-8 pm, check-out is 11am.

With prior notice and approval, a 1pm early check in is available for $50 and a 1pm late check out for an additional $50. If you select the early check in option and do not arrive early, you will be charged the fee as a person will have been scheduled to be there for you.

72 hour cancellation notice required or full cost of the room is charged.

Smoking Permitted outside only.

A Full Breakfast is served between 8:30-9am.

No pets.

We are not equipped to take children.

Rates are for single or double occupancy. No more than two people per room. Only one bed per room, so we can not accommodate requests for two beds in a room.

No outside visitors past 10pm who are not staying at MLC.
