Oasis
Spa nurtures all your senses in an idyllic mountain setting of Mountain
Laurel Creek
Q&A
To make your spa experience the most enjoyable and comfortable, we’ve
assembled some of the most common questions our spa staff receives …
Do I need to stay at Mountain Laurel Creek in order to receive
spa services?
No, Oasis Spa is open to the public – by advance reservation –
seven days a week, 10am to 6pm daily.
How early should I arrive?
We encourage outside clients to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance
of their scheduled appointment. Guests staying at the Inn should change
into their spa robe and then proceed to the Spa at their scheduled time.
What if I am running late?
From time to time guests arrive late for their scheduled appointment.
The most common reason given is that they underestimated the travel
time to the Spa. Please be sure to consult our driving directions available
on the website.
So as not to inconvenience other guests, note that spa treatments begin
and end at the time scheduled. No adjustments can be made for late arrivals
and full charges will apply.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Spa treatments require a 24 hour advance notice of cancellation or rescheduling
in order to avoid being charged the full amount of the scheduled treatments.
What do I need to bring?
For guests at the Inn, robes are provided so that you can change in
your room before heading to the Spa for your treatments.
Are shower facilities available for outside clients?
We encourage you to refrain from showering if possible immediately following
a spa treatment to maximize the beneficial effects of the spa products
that were applied during your treatment. We realize this isn’t
always possible and do have limited shower capacity for outside clients.
Guests staying at the Inn can return to their room to enjoy a soak in
their jetted tub or a relaxing warm shower.
Do I have to disrobe entirely for a spa treatment?
Our most commonly asked question … This is your treatment so you
need to be comfortable. It’s customary for guests to disrobe completely
for their spa service but it’s not necessary. Our therapists are
professional, licensed and trained to drape you to protect your privacy
at all times. However, you should undress only to the level of your
comfort.
Can I choose a specific therapist?
While every therapist at Oasis Spa is trained in all aspects of massage
therapy and skilled at various techniques, sometimes a therapist and
customer can ‘click’. If you would like to schedule one
of our therapists you especially enjoyed at a past treatment, we can
do our best to make the arrangements subject to availability.
Please advise us at the time you schedule your treatment if you have
a preference in terms of a male or female masseuse or if simply the
best available therapist is acceptable.
What is the tipping policy?
Gratuities are not included in the cost of your service and are at your
discretion. It is customary to leave 20% for exceptional service. This
can either be given directly to the therapist upon completion of services
or added to your bill at check out and we will relay the gratuity on
your behalf.
Should I refrain from shaving prior to a spa treatment?
No change in your routine is required, but for your comfort, it is recommended
that you refrain from any hair removal (including shaving, waxing or
laser removal) 24 hours in advance of any spa treatment. This will help
to prevent any irritation from occurring.
Can I still get a massage if I’m pregnant?
Massage is only recommended after the first trimester. Before then you
may want to take advantage of a facial or reflexology treatment.
Do you serve lunch?
Sorry, not at this time (but we’re working on it though!).

Ridge Mountains, and in the heart of North Georgia Wine Country.
